Alan Bishop brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Pike Street family with almost five decades of experience in the highly competitive retail space.  Alan created one of the most recognized Midwestern retail brands, Mr. Alan’s. In 2019, after 46 years with peak sales of $50 million, Alan took advantage of a disposition opportunity to exit 32 stores to international Private Equity firm Snipes based in Cologne, Germany. During this time, Alan assembled an impressive real estate portfolio throughout Michigan, Illinois, and Florida and with a sale lease back structure, Alan maintained much of the real estate occupied by Snipes.

As President of Pike Street Properties, Alan provides strategic direction to the leadership team while leveraging his extensive network and development background to drive new market expansion. With a long history of bringing new developments to urban areas, Alan oversees the Pike Street urban renewal portfolio in Pontiac, MI as a key area of focus.
